1 Trainee Orchestra Management (m/f/d)
(full-time, limited to 2 years)
The Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz was founded in Landau in 1919 and has been a state enterprise of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate since 1998. The Staatsphilharmonie is the largest and most important orchestra in the state and thus contributes to the basic symphonic supply in the Palatinate. It is also regarded as the symphony orchestra of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. With its 86 musicians, it is a regional and international ambassador for the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
We are looking for a committed personality with the appropriate aptitude to join our performance-oriented, friendly team.
The position is directly affiliated with the management of the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and aims to familiarize trainees with all areas of orchestra management and to enable them to work independently. There is a training plan which is structured over 2 years. Priorities can be set in consultation with the trainees.
Your tasks primarily include activities in the following areas:
Communication: Marketing, development, press and public relations, dramaturgy, print media and electronic media
Artistic planning: Concerts/guest performances/tours, scheduling, education and orchestral pedagogy, music library
In addition, you will gain insights into the tasks of administrative management and the artistic director
The position is limited to 2 years. The salary is currently around 2,400 euros per month (including event operating allowance).
