M/F Dancers required for ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’

Landestheater Niederbayern is seeking 2 professional male/male-identifying dancers and 2 professional female/female-identifying dancers for a production of ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’ directed by Johannes Reitmeier, conducted by Ektoras Tartanis, choreographed by Rae Piper and choir direction by R. Florian Daniel.

This contract is offered for highly skilled, experienced and creative professional dancers with vocational training.

DATES

• Rehearsal period starts 13th January 2025

• Final rehearsals from 10th February 2025

• Premiere - 22nd February 2025

• 16 perfomances in total

• Contract ends / last performance on 15th June 2025

FEE/TERMS

• Monthly fee: 2.800€ (non-negotiable) for the duration of the piece

• Accommodation: all necessary overnights in theater apartments free of charge (taxes may apply)

• Other: travel expenses for a limited amount of travel (negotiable)

• Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th October 2024 (you will only be required to attend one day)

LTNB sucht 4 Profi-TänzerInnen (2 Paare: m/w/d) für unsere Produktion ORFEO ED EURIDICE (Gluck). Regie/Ausstattung: Johannes Reitmeier. Musikalische Leitung: Ektoras Tartanis. Choreographie: Rae Piper. Chordirektion: R.-Florian Daniel.

Probenzeit: 13. Januar bis 21. Februar 2025

Vorstellungen: insgesamt 16 Vorstellungen bis Mitte Juni 2025 (siehe Homepage)

Beschäftigungszeitraum: 13. Januar bis 15. Juni 2025

Monatsgage: 2.800€ brutto (für den Gesamtzeitraum)
Mietfreie Unterkunft und einige Fahrtkosten werden n. Absprache erstattet

Auditions werden per Einladung kurz nach der Anmeldungsfrist vergeben. Die Auditions finden am 23./24. Oktober 2024 in Passau, Deutschland, statt (nur ein Tag Anwesenheit).

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelors degree in dance from a recognised dance training institution or equivalent vocational training

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience

• Soloist level in classical ballet technique and contemporary/modern technique

• Experience in one of the following techniques: Graham, Horton, Cunningham, Limon, Release

• Excellent partnering skills

• Strong acting ability

• Experience of narrative work

• Ability to work collaboratively and generously within a tight-knit company

• An EU passport or valid permission for permanent work in the EU

Pflichtangaben:

• Bachelors Degree od. vergleichbares Training an einer anerkannten Institution

• Minimum 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung

• Solistisches Level in klassische Ballett- od. Contemporary/Modern Technik

• Erfahrung in einer der folgenden Techniken: Graham, Horton, Cunningham, Limon, Release

• Starke Partnertanz Fähigkeiten und schauspielerisches Können

• Freude an Team-Arbeit in einem kleinen Ensemble

• EU Pass od. EU Arbeitserlaubnis
